Paleo Challenge Update
Eight days left. Everyone still in the challenge is still seeing improvements in performance, looks and overall well being. I personally feel awesome. I keep asking myself why I didn’t do this earlier. I started Zoning early on but Paleo seemed too hard to do or too much of a commitment. Now that I am 37 days into the challenge I’m kicking myself because it wasn’t hard at all and it’s not as big of a commitment as I thought it would be. Paleo cookbooks helped a ton. You just have to make the decision to do it and then just do it. Eat meat, vegetables, nuts, seeds and fruit.
That being said, we will start the CrossFit Force Paleo Challenge II on 18 July. It will last another 45 days, ending 31 Aug. I suggest all of you who are interested in doing this should really start planning and gearing up now. It will make it that much easier come 18 July. I would also suggest to just start weaning or going cold turkey now. I will email the details (rules and regs) to everyone again.
Here is a pic from Steph during her trip to the Okavango Delta in Botswana. I think she was on her 53rd L Pull Up when Paul snapped the picture. According to Steph the Hippos (hiding in the reeds) did not appreciate all the grunting and yelling she was doing during the workout. Doesn’t sound like our Steph though, who hardly ever makes a sound during the WODs. I guess Africa can make you do weird things during a WOD.
